Digital Gnosis is an electro-mystical multimedia duo, comprised of J and L, whose collaboration began sometime at the end of the previous b’ak’tun (roughly 2007). Live shows integrate cutting-edge technology with synchronized audio, lights, and video. No two shows are alike with live improvisational elements mixed with programmed elements to find the space between program, sequence, and person. Since 2021, they has made use of Mi.Mu glove technology to control, create and transform live music and video elements - they are one of the only electronic music duos in the world to do so.

After performances for their debut album 7 (2012), the sophomore release, Aten (2016) takes the listener on heroic excursion through trials and tribulations with electronic and world music intertwined. The companion remix album, A_Net (2017), features reinterpretations and remixes by numerous peers and collaborators. The album Gaté (2019) celebrates the energetic experience learned from live shows and audiences, electrifying dance-floors, and the first release from the group after co-founding the Thinkbreak Records label. The subsequent EP, Syncline (2021), saw community beyond dance floors via the endlesss.fm app and international members participating in its songwriting.

Their latest release, the album De Novo (2024), is a seven song cycle serving as an entrancing journey on the stages of mysticism, released at the moment of totality of the solar eclipse in spring 2024.

Digital Gnosis has performed alongside Dirtwire (David Satori/Beats Antique), Liebknecht (Daniel Myer/Haujobb), I Ya Toyah, and many more. Other notable performances include headlining the Topia Art + Tech Fest ‘24 (Jackson, MI, 2024), headlining the Thinkbreak Label event night at the Convergence 25 Festival (Boston, MA, 2019), performing as the first electronic musicians in the 72-hour Abbie Hoffman Festival XXV (2013), and live-scoring Georges Méliès films including ‘The Trip To The Moon’ as part of the Comfort Station silent film scoring series (2017).
